This book is informative about the tribes of Northern Uganda, but it didn't have the impact of her excellent book 'The harmless people'. I felt a real empathy fot the 'Bushmen' in her other book, I didn't really feel any connection with the warrior herdsmen.

Furthermore there isn't really a story to this it is really a narrative.3/5(3). Try the new Google Books. Check out the new look and enjoy easier access to your favorite features.
